Our Craft Pilsner is inspired by the traditional Czech Pilsner style and is brewed with Saaz and Saphir hops with a blend of Moravian and Canadian Pilsner malt. This beer is crisp and refreshing with a rich and complex bready maltiness complimented by the slightly spicy and floral hop character. We hybridized two subcategories of IPA, Black IPA and Cold IPA. Fruit medley of mango, grapefruit, guava, and pineapple from Amarillo, HBC 586, and Citra hop. Grainy, crackery flavour from pilsner malt. Light corn flavour with dryness from flaked corn. Light restraint chocolate with a slight hint of roastiness from de-husked roasted malt. Building upon a Scottish "Wee Heavy", this unique beer was developed to provide a strong caramel malt flavour with enough salt to give it a bit of a bite. Stronger in alcohol, this beer starts off sweet but remains fairly light to drink.

The base of this beer is a robust porter that uses large amounts of chocolate malts to achieve a chocolaty flavour. Pumpkin is used in the mash along with traditional pumpkin pie spicing in the brew kettle. An English strain of yeast is used to give this beer a slightly fruity yeast derived flavour. We collaborated with Blind Enthusiasm Brewery in Edmonton, one of Canada's most unique breweries specializing in spontaneous-fermentation beers. We utilized the framework of our award-winning Brett Saison recipe and merged it with Blind Enthusiasm’s brewing techniques and their house microbe culture sourced directly from their barrels. The beer was dryhopped with Amarillo and Saphir after four months of fermentation, then keg-conditioned for natural carbonation. Refreshing passionfruit, lime, pineapple, and apricot flavour with a hint of funk, florals, and spices. Lightly tart, fairly dry finish with gentle tannin and salinity in the aftertaste.

Pink Boots POG Hibiscus Sour-Pink Power Sour is a vibrant and empowering Tropical Hibiscus POG(passionfruit, orange, guava) Sour ale crafted by a team of passionate women and non-binary individuals at Paralle 49 in collaboration with Pink Boots Society to celebrate International Women's Day.
