From our Cork & Cage Series
This pale mixed-culture sour ale was aged in French Oak barrels for 6 months and refermented on top of freshly picked whole Lapin Cherries from Naramata. Juicy cherry aroma with white grape esters and some background wildness from our blend of Brettanomyces and the local microflora from the Okanagan to complement the fruit. Cherry skin, almonds and some oaky spice dominate while the beer’s medium acidity keeps a clean, tart finish.
